As your dog becomes a teenager, they are likely going to struggle with focus, test boundaries and become more independent. This can be frustrating as it may feel like your previous training is coming undone.
This course is designed to help improve focus, introduce impulse control, work on loose lead walking and recall. It will also aim to help with some cooperative care skills to help with grooming and handling your dog at the vet.
The course will also cover dog body language and dog play interactions (dogs attending the class will not be expected to interact with each other)
In addition, each course will be tailored to suit the training needs of the individuals - helping deal with various issues such as fearfulness, excess energy and destructive tendencies.
While these classes will be kept small, with no more than four dogs per class, this may prove unsuitable or overwhelming to your dog, if this is the case I may recommend 1-2-1 classes as an alternative.
Classes take place outdoors, in a private, secure field.
